Treatment Coordinator - LightHouse Dental Cobourg

Conveniently located at Elgin St W & Division Street, LightHouse Dental serves the Cobourg community. We offer complete, comprehensive, and high quality dental care in a relaxed environment that is welcoming to patients of all ages, including young children. We offer general dentistry as well as specialty services such as oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), dentures, and sedation (sleep dentistry) all in one convenient location. There’s no need to travel out of town for specialist appointments.
Additionally, through working within the dentalcorp network, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the industry’s leading clinicians and have greater access to the advanced treatment technologies, training & development, and support.
Schedule: Full-Time
Monday- Friday
1 evening a week, 1 weekend per month

The wage for this Treatment Coordinator position is $30-$32/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients, explaining treatment plans, procedures, costs, and financing options
- Support treatment planning by coordinating appointments and follow-ups with the dental team
- Present treatment costs, collect payments, process insurance claims, and assist with payment plans
- Build strong patient relationships to encourage treatment acceptance, retention, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth scheduling to optimize chair time
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to deliver seamless, high-quality care
- Uphold privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards in all patient interactions
About You:
- Previous clinical experience as a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator is required
- Knowledge and understanding of dental treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required
- Experience with dental software programs is required
- Strong customer service experience
